Trecho da entrevista que fiz com Kev, do Elefant.
- Black magic show brought different reactions, some people thinking that you had evolved, others saying that you lost the hand. Somehow the album may be a kind of Kid A from you, because the sound it has is more tense and less easy than the first album?
It’s a very different album than SMMP. The aesthetic quality ended up being almost directly opposite of SMMP. We write a lot of songs, but were unable to release a follow up to SMMP for over 3 years. Therefore, there was no bridge album between the sounds of the records. A band’s first album often defines their sound or provides the blueprint. Due to many reasons, the sound of BMS was in contrast to SMMP, which was bound to cause mixed reactions among critics and fans.
